2011-08-01 22:44:44 $2,000 Grant for First Time Buyers Home Sweet Home ProgramThe HOME Sweet Home Program (HSHP) provides grants in the amount of $2,000 to qualifying Oregonians to assist with their down payment and closing costs. The program just received $100,000 from Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) that will help 50 Oregonians purchase their first home. All of these OHCS funds will be used for homebuyer grants. The program works with your buyer’s lender, who must be a member of the Oregon Bankers Association, to assist them in the purchase of their first home.
